It is with great sadness to inform you that from Friday 20 March, all East Surrey Acrobatics gym and trampolining classes will be suspended for the remainder of the Spring term. This has not been an easy decision to make, but in line with school closures and the latest Government/British Gymnastics advice we will be taking an extended break. The health and wellbeing of our participants, coaches, parents is our top priority.
Over the last week, we have put numerous safety precautions in place for the continuation of classes up until this point to keep all participants safe, but we feel now is the right time to put further action into place.
As a club, we are still very much in our infancy, and with all of our coaches all working on a self-employed basis, this a very difficult time for us all. In terms of fees for the remaining weeks of this term, these will be carried over to when we return (hopefully in the Summer term) and additional sessions will be put on to attend for those missed. We will keep you posted with any further updates and please do look out for the competitions/challenges we will be posting to keep your children entertained through this difficult period – we want to stay in touch and help children stay active. Conditioning sheets will be sent out to all over the forthcoming weeks, so that you can keep your gymnasts active at home (great to be used as a PE lesson at home!) We hope you all stay fit & healthy. Look after yourselves and we look forward to seeing you in class very soon.
Best wishes, Mike Roberts and Lucy Tozer East Surrey Acrobatics
